Welcome to Welnue ("Welnue," "we," "our," or "us"). Welnue is operated by COREVIA L.L.C-FZ. We provide a marketplace platform connecting customers with gyms, fitness studios, wellness centers, and spas across the United Arab Emirates ("UAE").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our mobile application (the "App"), our website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, password, and profile preferences.
  • Apple Sign In Data: If you sign in using Apple, we receive the name and email address (or Apple private relay email) authorized through your Apple ID.
  • Booking & Pass Information: Selected venues, services, dates, time slots, guest details, and booking history.
  • Partner / Venue Information (for Business Accounts): Trade name, business registration, contact details, venue location, bank/payout account details (processed securely via Stripe Connect), and operational details.
  • Communications: Inquiries, customer support tickets, or feedback submitted to us.

B. Payment & Financial Data

  • Payment processing is handled directly by Stripe. Welnue does not store full payment card numbers or sensitive CVV security codes on our servers.
  • For venue operators, payout onboarding and verification (KYC) are managed securely through Stripe Connect in compliance with UAE financial regulations.

C. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device & Usage Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, IP address, and interaction logs within the App.
  • Location Data (Optional): With your explicit permission, we collect approximate or precise location data to help you discover nearby gyms and wellness centers. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Facilitate venue search, bookings, and digital pass generation.
  • Process payments, issue booking confirmations, and transfer payouts to venue partners.
  • Authenticate user and partner accounts.
  • Send transactional notifications (booking updates, schedule reminders, cancellations).
  • Prevent fraud, security incidents, and abuse of the platform.
  • Comply with legal obligations under applicable UAE regulations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following contexts:

  • With Venue Partners: When you make a booking, we share your name and booking details with the booked venue solely to facilitate your check-in and service delivery.
  • With Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating our platform, including:
    • Stripe (Payment processing and provider payouts).
    • Supabase (Secure cloud hosting, database, and authentication services).
    • Apple (Authentication and push notifications).
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or governmental regulation under UAE jurisdiction.

4. Data Retention and Security

  • We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law (e.g., accounting and tax records).
  • We implement industry-standard encryption, role-based access control, and secure tokenized authentication to safeguard your information.

5. Account Deletion and Your Privacy Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection) and Apple App Store guidelines, you have the right to:

  • Access & Correct: Review and update your profile information directly within the App.
  • Delete Your Account: You can request the immediate deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time directly in the App via Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us at support@welnue.com.
  • Withdraw Consent: Revoke permissions such as location access or push notifications via your iOS Settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18 without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our Services after changes become effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy.
